England players report to England manager Thomas Tuchel for the first time. Marcus Rashford returns to England as Jordan Henderson and Newcastle hero Dan Burn all report to St George’s Park for duty.

    Tuchel, who officially took over on January 1 after being appoint in October last year, announced his first squad on Friday, with the German having selected a 26-man squad for the Three Lions to begin their World Cup qualifiers for 2026.

    A number of big-name players reported to England’s base at St George’s Park on Monday afternoon, including the recalls Marcus Rashford and Jordan Henderson.


    Tuchel was there to greet the players when they arrived and the German appeared delighted to be making his first proper international start.
    Rashford, who last play for the Three Lions last year, has been hand a call-up. After impressing for Aston Villa despite being shunne by United boss Ruben Amorim earlier in the season,
    the player lifted his hood upon arrival but still smiled and gave the camera a thumbs-up. The striker
    then gave Henderson a warm hug, with the former Liverpool captain a shock choice for Tuchel after his international career appeared to be over last year after Gareth Southgate left him out of England’s squad for Euro 2024. Henderson
    has been link with a number of team-mates, including Jude Bellingham, Declan Rice and Reece James, while he also met Tuchel. Dan Burn was
    also pictured at England headquarters just hours after winning the Carabao Cup with Newcastle.
    Burn, 32, was call up for the first time last week despite never playing for the Three Lions at any level.
    Several regulars, including Jude Bellingham, Harry Kane and Jordan Pickford, appeared to be in high spirits upon arrival. But there were also some youngsters in the squad.
    Miles Lewis-Skelly was delighted to report for his first spell on the bench after a breakthrough season at Arsenal,
    while Tino Livramento, Morgan Rogers and James Trafford were also among those to greet Tuchel.
